Erika in Wonderland Bat Mitzvah

Last year there was one theme that outnumbered all the rest. Extremely ornate and beautiful, any twist on Alice and Wonderland was a feast for the eyes. One that I had the pleasure of scrapbooking was "Erika in Wonderland". Here are just a few details from the spectacular event. And no LA Photo Party event is complete without a few jumping photos.

wedded bliss

Last year, I posted this photo on Instagram with the caption: Gorgeous venue, excited about scrapbooking this wedding tonight!

It was one of 2 weddings we did during that week. And wow, was it gorgeous. Here are a couple behind the scenes snapshots of our little LA Photo Party corner before the guests (and fun!) arrived.

As thrilled as I was that evening, it's even more delightful to see that Style Me Pretty has featured Colleen and Roger's wedding, which was designed and coordinated by Amber Events and photographed by Callaway Gable.

Handing over the completed album full of delightful photos and hand-written notes, at the end of fantastic events, like this one, is total bliss.

so proud

My cousin Cindy started grad school at USC on Monday. She's getting a doctorate in physical therapy, and tonight is her White Coat Ceremony. She's the first in our family to go to grad school. We couldn't be more proud of her.

friday randoms

Finished this 500 page book in less than a week, which may be, is without a doubt, a new record.

I dig these: (via swissmiss)

Some photos from the last scrapbooking gig with LA Photo Party:

I used a favorite American Crafts album, POW! papers that are amazing because they don't get glitter all over you, Hambly and some bling. Hope you enjoyed some randoms today & have a lovely weekend!

friday bits

Back in 2005, we incorporated buttons onto one-of-a-kind tank tops that looked a little like this:

I fondly remember loving the mix of colors and being so happy when Barney's New York in Japan ordered them. Now it seems my addiction to buttons has transfered over to paper, especially after seeing this...

Jen never ceases to amaze me! What a wonderful project.
And here's the layout and card for American Crafts "bits week" from me, incorporating some of my favorite bits of life: working with LA Photo Party, fun, photos and of course, buttons.

Hope you all have a fun weekend filled with happy bits.
