December Daily Days 14-22

YAY - these pages are done and my plan for wrapping up this December Daily album before the year may actually pan out.20131226-100559.jpg20131226-100609.jpg20131226-100618.jpgI have intentions of putting a QR code as I've seen in some Project Life albums on the "This Moment" card. I would link it to the video of Jack laughing for the first time because it's too darn cute not to include.20131226-100627.jpgI got a 3-day trial membership to Equinox and I am seriously considering re-joining (it used to be Sports Club LA). Gotta get back to feeling healthy. Will elaborate more of my fitness goals and plan sometime soon. It's realistic and not crazy, but more of a plan to maintain my health and activity, which in turn promotes my happiness, which in turn promotes my family's well being. Also in case anyone wants the perfect gift for boys/men of almost any age - Anki Drive is fitting and so fun. Thanks to Ellen, we gave a few out as gifts to our favorite guys.20131226-100643.jpgThe bond between Jack and his Uncle or "Unc" is quite remarkable.20131226-100657.jpg20131226-100715.jpg20131226-100723.jpg20131226-100731.jpgJack seriously LOVES his bath time, and his Aunt Jenny captured a perfect shot of him. We use a Fisher Price - Whale of a Bath Tub and this delicious smelling MD Moms Baby Silk Gentle All-Over Clean Hair & Body Wash. Other supplies include: Studio Calico December Daily kit | Cut & Paste Project Life kit | Kelly Purkey washi tapes | Cut & Paste phrase stickers | Cut & Paste Chipboard Thickers | Camera stitched using this stencil kit | Airplane punch | Mama Elephant Ink Pads | Photos with text/anchor icon from the app, A Beautiful Mess

My pages are simple, with pops of color and lots of photos of Jack. Enjoying the present and not fussing over perfection. But I have to say that my journaling would have been messed up numerous times had it not been for the Pilot FriXion Ball Erasable Gel Pens.

December Daily Days 7-13

If you're scrambling around and feeling like you're overloaded this holiday, here's an article that really resonated with me, causing a great shift in my mindset these days. It also truly states what has been my way of approaching creativity and documentation. Somehow on Saturday morning while we were all at home, Jack slept for over 2 hours and I was able to catch up on documenting. JC was outside getting the last of the decorations/lights up. I worked in the kitchen scrambling and realizing that at any moment he could wake up. But somehow through doors opening and dogs barking and people coming in and out, he slept through it all as if he was 3 weeks old instead of 3 months. It was blissful and I enjoyed it while it lasted.20131217-090430.jpg20131217-090442.jpg20131217-090452.jpgAmy Tan's December Daily20131217-090523.jpgAmy Tan's December DailyAmy Tan's December DailyI've also allocated a page that's in progress for the stamps from the lovely cards we have been receiving. December Daily days 2-6

Played a little catch up with my December Daily. All the photos in the album are taken with my iPhone and these photos are as well. Didn't get a chance to edit them either, but hopefully you'll get the idea. Time seems even more precious and scarce these days! Thank goodness for this simple way of memory keeping where everything just slips right into the pockets. All of these photos were printed on the Canon SELPHY CP900 Wireless Printer, which I love. And I haven't had any issues with it. Love that I can get 2 photos onto 1 sheet by using PicFrame. I print wirelessly while doing other things like feeding Jack. This multitasking mama is realizing it's easier to focus on one thing at a time when it comes to the little one, but this happens to be an exception.December Daily 2013 | Amy TangerineDecember Daily 2013 | Amy TangerineI attached a 3x4 card from my Cut & Paste Project Life kit to a 4x6 one for journaling. The "seriously" is a custom Kal Barteski acrylic design that is exclusive to the Project Life class I taught in Hawaii. I have several class kits left, and if you're interested in purchasing the entire kit for $60 including shipping (US only), send me an email with your Paypal address. There are a TON of items in each kit.December Daily 2013 | Amy TangerineNo journaling for December 4th, but the photos tell most of the story.December Daily 2013 | Amy TangerineDecember Daily 2013 | Amy TangerineDecember Daily 2013 | Amy TangerineThe Whoa Baby and the numbers stamps are by Mama Elephant, one of our new creative partners. How's your December Daily progress going?

December Daily Day 1

The plan is to finish each day in the evening after Jack goes down. Keeping it simple and printing photos on my Canon SELPHY CP900 Wireless Printer is how I am going to approach this. I will also ask for help from family to contribute to the journaling cards, so you'll see some different handwriting in here on random days. I'll probably only share the pages sporadically, but the main thing I want to try and do is document the random little bits. I used some photos taken before December in the intro page and the first spread. Not going to stress at all about fudging and not having photos from the exact day. Since I am also participating in Big Picture Classes December Duos (starts December 12th), there will be some prompts thrown in. Oh there's nothing like feeling caught up with a project like this from Day 1. Let's see how long it lasts.December Daily Day 1 | Amy TangerineDecember Daily Day 1 | Amy TangerineDecember Daily Day 1 | Amy TangerineDecember Daily Day 1 | Amy TangerineDecember Daily Day 1 | Amy TangerineDecember Daily Day 1 | Amy Tangerine

Hello December

Hello December album | Amy TangerineNot sure quite how we got to December already - the last 11 months sure have flown by. Last night before going to a friend's birthday party, I decided I was definitely going to do December Daily this year. I started by painting the cover with white paint, then I embellished it using mostly Studio Calico's kit, but also throwing in Kelly Purkey washi tapes and a custom Kal Barteski design. Then after returning from the party around 11pm (way past my bedtime), I added the finishing touches and was in bed by midnight. I plan on sharing pages as I get them done, with no real plan other than to have it finished by the end of this year. Keeping it simple, printing out photos and carving out time each day to get this done will be a welcome challenge that will no doubt be worthwhile to look back on someday. It is after all, my first time having a real Christmas tree, Jack's first Christmas, and our first Christmas in our own home as a family. Bring it. **To help celebrate the start of a very special month, we are doing a promotion and giveaway with one of our creative partners**Pinkfresh adPinkfresh Studio is a fresh online shop that offers their own exclusive range of washi tapes, trendy shaped enamel stickers - these are my favorite, brad stickers and fresh press cards in fun colors. They have recently started selling Ombre print washi tapes which are really different and so vibrant. The airmail and aztec prints look so gorgeous. And last but not least their 1st ever stamp set called “Delightful Tales” is great for all your layouts, PL pages and cards. Their products are really fun and colorful to add a little something extra to any paper crafting projects.
