Had such a fun time on tour with Spotlight in September. I didn't take too many photos other than the ones I posted on Instagram, but thankfully Brian captured these. Also since I am in major video mode, I had to share this vlog - part 1 of 3. I will probably space out parts 2 and 3 over the next few weeks!
Australia Favorites
Gathered up a bunch of goodies from my trip to Australia and pulled them together in a little video. Really enjoying the whole vlogging and video making thing - it seems all of you are liking it too. Workspace Wednesday
While at American Crafts last week, I sporadically took over a few desks throughout the office. I had to finish an assignment that's coming up for something pretty neat, which I plan on sharing here next month. After I finished that work, I figured I had already made a mess, I may as well keep going and decided to make something with the leftovers. I challenged myself to finish in under 15 minutes, and I think it ended up taking 30 minutes, but I am just fine with that. I photographed the steps along the way using my phone.
And here is the finished layout. I like that it's not completely straight and a bit askew.
Supplies are all from my Rise & Shine collection except for the washi tape by We R Memory Keepers that was in this amazing dispenser. Thinking I may need one of these for the studio. Australia mini album part 01
It turns out that I am behind on sharing about a lot of big events - the Pre-Oscars event that we did in February, and my tour with Spotlight stores in Australia. The good news though, is that in reality, I don't feel too backed up on projects. Sure, there's a lot going on, but there always is. Fortunately, I've learned (and I'm still learning) to be present in the given moment. It can be difficult at times, especially when there is SO much going on and I feel overwhelmed and busy. There are so many things I want to share with you, but somehow composing blog posts and making videos can't happen when I think of the best things to say, usually on a run or in the shower. I decided to shoot a flip through of what my album looked like when I returned from the trip. Basically, it's a follow up from this video where I was trying to decide how to document my journey. I filmed it in one take, recording voiceover as I was flipping. Some edits were done after, but it was pretty minimal and the video didn't take me as long as it usually does to finish.
I altered an album that I didn't like the cover of with paint, stickers, and die cuts. Most of the supplies came from a mix of my Stitched and Rise & Shine collections. Hope you enjoy!

Woohoo - my tour is officially kicking off today! It's been something we have been planning and preparing for with Spotlight down under for a while now, and finally it’s time!
